How to check your vehicles Bolt Pattern?
Count how many studs or lug nuts are on your wheel hub.
Next Step Tip: Measure in millimeters
If you have 4, 6 or 8 stud or lug nuts
measure the center to center distance from the two studs that are
across the hub from each other.
This number is your bolt pattern diameter
If you have 5 studs
Measure the center to center distance between two studs directly across the hub from each other.
Multiply the measurement by 1.05
If you have 7 studs
Measure the center to center
distance between two studs directly across the hub from each other. Multiply the measurement by 1.03
How to Check Your Vehicle Offset?
Wheel Width Divided by 2 = Center Line of wheel
Measure from the mounting pad or Hub to
the closest edge of the wheel while bolted on the vehicle
This is your back
spacing
Center
line of wheel - Back Spacing = Offset in inches
Offset in inches x 25.4 = Offset in Millimeters
Offset Types
Zero - The hub mounting surface is even with
the center line of the wheel.
Positive - The
hub mounting surface is toward the front or wheel side of the wheel.
Negative - The hub mounting surface is toward the back or brake side of the wheels center line of the wheel.
