Count how many studs or lug nuts are on your wheel hub.

Step Tip: Measure in millimeters
If you have 4, 6 or 8 stud or lug nuts
measure the center
to center distance from the two studs that are across the hub from each other.
This
number is your bolt pattern diameter
If you have 5 studs
Measure the center to center
distance between two studs directly across the hub from each other.
Multiply
the measurement by 1.05
If you have
7 studs
Measure the center to center distance between
two studs directly across the hub from each other. Multiply the measurement by 1.03
DIY How to Check Your Vehicle Offset?
Wheel Width Divided by 2 = Center Line of wheel
Measure from the mounting pad or Hub to the closest edge of the wheel while bolted on the vehicle
This is your back spacing
Center line of wheel - Back Spacing = Offset in inches
Offset in inches x 25.4 = Offset in Millimeters
Offset Types
Zero
- The hub mounting surface is even with the center line of the wheel.
Positive - The hub mounting surface is toward the front or wheel side of the wheel.
Negative - The hub mounting surface is toward the back or brake side of the wheels center
line of the wheel.
