When buying tires their are many different types of warranties that each manufacture may offer. The warranties offered on tires are made possible by the tire manufacture brands. When you believe you have a warranty issue on a tire its important for us to identify which warranty you believe it falls under. To have a tire warranty claim filed it helps to understand how we work with the manufactures to make this possible. As a consumer you always have the choice as to which tire dealer you file your tire warranty claim with. Tire warranty claims normally take 8-12 weeks to process an outcome of either credit given to you the customer issued to us through our supplier or they get disapproved. Credit amounts if given are determined by the tire manufacture. A full tire credit at 100% will always be less than the amount you will pay retail for the replacement tire. This is because the tire manufactures will only credit the value based on what they believe the tire costs to produce and get to their suppliers. Tire Claim

Types

  • Uniformity Warranty -
    This warranty is normally only available during the first 1/32nds of tread. This is when a tire is causing a ride disturbance that can not be fixed with tire balancing. When a tire shop tries to balance this tire it should ask for too much weight or not balance correctly on the tire balancing machine prior to installation on the vehicle. Tire balancing is measured during a tires final inspection at the tire factories. Tire companies will not accept that all four tires from the same vehicle have this problem. If a claim is made to return all four tires the tire manufacture will not accept the claim as legitimate. After 1/32nds of tread ride disturbances have been linked to road hazard damages or irregular wear from the vehicle condition/maintenance. Credit from manufacture takes 8-12 weeks to process. You pay upfront for replacement tire.
  • Workmanship & Materials Warranty -
    This warranty is normally available until a tire wears down to 2/32nds of tread. It covers conditions within the tire manufactures control of raw materials & quality of workmanship. This does not cover tire blowouts, sidewall punctures, ride disturbances or irregular wear. Credit given from the manufacture will be prorated based on the manufactures determination of value. Credit from manufacture takes 8-12 weeks to process. You pay upfront for replacement tire.
  • Treadlife Warranty -
    This warranty is normally only available for 4-6 years from date of purchase. Proof of purchase is always required. The Treadlife warranty can only be filed when all four tires reach 2/32nds of tread. This warranty only applies to the original owner of the vehicle which the set of tires was installed. This type of warranty is not normally applied to tires that come original equipment on a new vehicle. Credit given from the manufacture will be prorated based on the manufactures determination of value. Credit from manufacture takes 8-12 weeks to process. You pay upfront for replacement tire.
  • Manufacturer Road Hazard Warranty -
    This warranty is NOT offered on most tires from the tire manufactures. This warranty would cover sidewall blowouts, cuts, punctures, rips, and bruises or impact damage caused by potholes, curbs or other objects in the road. If a manufacture offers this warranty it will be listed under a road hazard warranty section in their warranty booklet. This is not covered under any of the tire companies limited tire warranty sections. Credit given from the manufacture will be prorated based on the manufactures determination of value. Credit from manufacture takes 8-12 weeks to process. You pay upfront for replacement tire.
  • Manufacturer Test Drive Warranties -
    This warranty is normally offered by a limited number of the tire manufactures for tires purchased within 30 days of driving. Original proof of purchase is required for this warranty. Original equipment tires are not covered under this warranty. Credit given from the manufacture will be prorated based on the manufactures determination of value. Credit from manufacture takes 8-12 weeks to process. You pay upfront for the replacement tire.

All tire claims we file for you will require you to pay for the current replacement tires upfront. When credit is given from the manufacture to our supplier we will than contact you & give you the amount the manufacture has given.
